Answer

The UCSB Library’s Department of Special Research Collections (SRC) acquires, preserves, and makes accessible rare, valuable, or unique materials that support UCSB students, faculty, and research programs, as well as the scholarly community.  The collections include printed materials such as books and serials, as well as manuscripts, and audio-visual materials. SRC materials are non-circulating but are available for research in the reading room during posted hours.
