How long can I borrow an Interlibrary Loan (ILL) item?

The lending library determines the length of the loan period for items that you borrow through ILL. The lending library also determines whether an item may be renewed, and will stipulate any further restrictions on the use of material. For example, a lending library will often stipulate that a rare item may not be photocopied, or that it must be used in the UCSB library, typically in the Special Research Collections Department.
