Is there a cost for the Interlibrary Loan (ILL) service?
The UCSB Library does not charge faculty, staff, or currently enrolled students for Interlibrary Loans. However, the average per-item cost for ILL transactions is $17.50, according to the most recent information from the Association of Research Libraries. Therefore, we ask you to request only those materials necessary for your research.
