If UCSB doesn’t own a book or article, can I get it from somewhere else?

Answer

For current students, staff, and faculty, Interlibrary Loan (ILL) can be used to borrow items from other libraries. Books can be requested via UC Library Search and articles via "Get it at UC" links from within databases. Instructions can be found on the Making an ILL Request webpage.
