How do I view the web version of the Washington Post?

Answer

Current UCSB students, staff, and faculty have access to the web version of The Washington Post.

To activate free digital access to The Washington Post, you must create an individual account with your @ucsb.edu email address. After you have registered you can access the content at https://www.washingtonpost.com or via the Washington Post app or social media posts.

Below are steps outlining how to begin an individual subscription through UCSB's licensed access.

1. Visit https://www.washingtonpost.com/subscribe/signup to sign-up with your ucsb.edu email address

2. You will automatically receive an activation e-mail. This e-mail will contain a button that will both verify your e-mail address and activate your subscription.

Users with existing accounts can still verify your email through My Post and can activate your subscription in one click through the verification email.

For more information, visit the UCSB Library LibGuide for the Online Access to the Washington Post.
