How can I access subscription electronic resources such as databases, e-book, and e-journals from off campus?

Answer

You can use either the proxy server or the VPN (virtual private network).  Links in UCSB Library Search, on the Library website, and in our research guides will automatically route you through the proxy server.  However, if you prefer, you can download the campus Pulse VPN client and use it instead.  For more information on the proxy server and VPN see the Off-Campus Access webpage.
