Does the UCSB Library have DVDs or videos?

Answer

The Main Library's media collection, including DVDs and videos, is located on the 2nd floor, Ocean Side. DVDs and videos are cataloged and listed in UC Library Search. Items can be checked out at the Services Desk. VCR and DVD players are available behind the Curriculum Resources Collection on the 2nd floor, Ocean.

Video Services in the Instructional Development Department also has a video collection for faculty to use in their classrooms and for students to view in Kerr Hall. Search the Instructional Development Video Database to locate films for classroom use.  If faculty want their students to view a video owned by Video Services, they may request films to be placed on electronic reserve via GauchoCast.

Additional information and reserve requests should be sent to fvo@id.ucsb.edu.
