How do I check out a book?
First, identify where to find library material using UC Library Search and the Library Floor Plans and Locations Guide. To borrow material, bring the item(s) you want and your library card or Access Card to the Services Desk in the Library's Paseo. Most items can also be checked out at the Self-Check Out machines.
All Self Check-Out machines are located on the first floor in the following locations:
- Mountain Side, Learning Commons
- Paseo, near the Services Desk
- Ocean Side, inside Davidson Entrance
