How many books can I check out at a time?
Users can check out books and other library materials by using the self-checkout machines located near library exits or by visiting the Services Desk in the UCSB Library Paseo. The maximum number of items that can be checked out are:

Undergraduates: 50

Honors students: 200

Graduates: 200

Faculty: 1,000

Staff: 100

Community: 10
